Yep. Around the early part of the film, the lead almost gets into an accident in back of the hotel. Thank you for the history and this postcard of the Stafford. BTW, the women in the black swimming suit with her legs in the water was my mom.
Quigs.

Yep, the only difference is I got Mom's Jewish nose and Dad had a thin nose.

I only got my Dad's white goatee, so if I had a white suit I could go to work at KFC as a Colonel Sanders stand-in. :)

LOL. Actually, it's funny you mention him. When we were living in Lexington, KY. and having our first bought home on the market so we could go to Harrisburg/Mechanicsburg, PA.; a 1964 white Studebaker came up to our house and guess who got out of the car- the Colonel himself and his daughter.
I saw them first get out, screamed at Mom to come to the window and see who was checking out our home, and my mom yelled at my older brother to come down the stairs to see also. My older was just too busy to come at that moment. When he did come down and inquired what the fuss was, they had gotten back in their car and drove off. To this day, my older brother thinks I was seeing things and Mom is no longer around to cooperate the story.

That's funny! You can see Col. Sanders in a couple of grindhouse-type movies, Blast-Off Girls and Hell's Bloody Devils. The only wacky and colorful old celebrity like him that I ever met was Criswell from Plan 9 from Outer Space.

It's the truth, really. :+)
BTW, our film The Godchildren was turned down by Sundance so we have to redo some scenes and fix up the audio before our Director tries again. If everything fits into place, it could be out in the summer of 2014 at "a theater near you"

I'm not a big fan of big-name film festivals, so I wouldn't sweat it too much. Seems to me that the local festivals make more sense to shoot for, if any of them are. It's not what other people think of our work that matters anyway, as much as what meaning it holds for us and conveys to the people we know and love, who also know and love us, IMHO. I believe you when you say that you saw Col. Sanders, BTW! When I met Criswell, he spoke of terrible disasters a few years down the road that would affect us all, but at the end of his talk he told me I had a "wonderful future ahead!" LOL!
